Who was/is your Role Model and why?

I don’t have one specific role model, but I learn – and have learned - a lot from different people. It really helps me to have female role models in academia. In particular female professors who devote a lot of attention to developing themselves and others, and who are passionate about their research and teaching.

What advice would give your 17 year old self, reflecting on your personal or professional challenges, experiences or successes?

I would suggest to not worry too much and go for the things you really like to do. When you're really motivated, the results will follow, and it makes work fun too!
