The profession of psychologist-trainer is an attractive prospect for those seeking a broad professional field within Psychology. Graduates of the track have the knowledge and skills to guide group processes.

The track Training & Development develops trainers who can bring groups of employees or employers to change in a careful and motivating manner. They can convert training goals into concrete training programmes. Because of their knowledge and sensitivity to the effects of social behaviour, and their skill in dealing with difficult group processes during training, these scientifically trained trainers stand out favourably in the work field of training.

Some examples of positions that our graduates have:

  • Trainer in social and communication skills at profit and non-profit organisations
  • Freelance trainer
  • Self-employed person with your own consultancy/training agency as consultant, trainer, coach
  • Psychology lecturer or skills trainer at HBO institutions or universities.
  • Education adviser
