The application process consists of 6 steps.
Make sure to follow the deadlines:
The entry requirements depend on where you have completed your prior education. These are the requirements for the September 2024 intake:
Studielink is the national online registration system for students who would like to pursue a degree programme at a Dutch university. All students who would like to apply to a programme at the University of Amsterdam need to register in Studielink first.
After registering in Studielink, you will receive your UvAnetID. This will give you access to check the status of your personal enrolment Checklist. There you find the subsequent steps that you need to take in order to complete your enrolment.
In order to check if you are eligible for the programme you need to upload and submit your documents in Embark. Do not forget to keep an eye on the deadlines!
Your tuition fee needs to be credited to the UvA’s bank account one day before your degree programme starts at the latest (31 August for a September start and 31 January for a February start).
If you have received the great news that you are (conditionally) admitted to the programme, it's time to focus on other essential matters like arranging a visa (if necessary), finding accommodation, and preparing for the start of your academic journey. We will inform you per email about these topics when (conditionally) admitted. Want to get an early idea of what you need to consider?
