Within the Master's Communication Science you specialize in one of the following four tracks:

Study programme

The Entertainment Communication track focuses on the experience and impact of entertainment media and technology among a range of different groups, individuals, and contexts. In addition, we pay special attention to how content and design are related to the audience’s needs and preferences. You will study what makes particular entertainment media and technologies (e.g., games, advertising, social media) effective at reaching desired outcomes.

After graduation, you will be a media professional who is able to provide integral solutions to communication problems, within positions in advertising agencies, broadcasting companies, creative industries, social institutions, and academia. Our alumni are international experts working in organisations as diverse as KLM, MTV, Viacom, Microsoft and Heineken, or have started their own companies focusing on media development and user testing.
