Why did you choose this Master’s track?

The main reason I chose this Master's programme is that I really liked the Bachelor's course Recruitment, Selection and Work Performance. I wanted to delve deeper into this subject. I looked at the courses on this Master's track and the content was really in line with what I thought I could do in the future.

Why at the UvA?

I did my Bachelor's at the UvA, so I have experience here. It felt natural because you know the students, the professors and the university. I looked at the Master’s track and saw how interesting it was.

What should students consider?

HRCM is a small Master’s track. One advantage is that you get to know the students and the professors. It also means that you really have to put in the work and participate in the meetings. This means that you have to keep up-to-date with the readings and assignments. It is theoretical, but you will also have the opportunity to practice professional skills that we have covered less in the Bachelor's. It is a one-year Master's programme, but it is likely to go beyond that if you opt for a longer internship and m-thesis period.
