Ancient History
The ancient history team examine the Mediterranean from about 1200 BCE to 800 CE. By exploring the diverse connections within the Mediterranean and with the surrounding world, they look beyond the traditional framework of Greek and Roman history. They collaborate closely with their colleagues from ACASA and within the Amsterdam School of Historical Studies.
