Clara Bonde, Lund University

I truly cannot recommend the UvA highly enough and that's why I'm looking forward to come back to pursue my Master's degree. I have been very motivated by how engaged and passionate the staff are, it is clear that they genuinely care about what they teach, which raises the quality of education to a completely different level. The combination of theory and practice, particularly when professors share their own professional experiences, is incredibly valuable for students in understanding what different fields of study can actually lead to. The university facilities are well designed, with beautiful libraries, making it a motivating environment to be in. In addition, the staff working in other departments across the university are also exceptionally helpful.

What was the strongest or best aspect?
I was so happy and impressed with my courses. I chose courses that I would not have been able to take in Sweden, and they have greatly inspired me in terms of what I want to do in the future. I have gained many new and important perspectives, which are a valuable addition to my education.

I do see some room for improvement when it comes to exam venues and organization. I took an exam at Science Park, and the environment felt quite chaotic and unstructured, with a lot of noise around. If I were to offer one suggestion, it would be to improve the organization and overall exam setting.

I feel very passionate about my own study abroad experience. I think it's the best decision you can take. It was a pleasure to get integrated into a new culture and setting, meet new friends, see a different perspective of education and it enriches life in ways I think is hard to put into words.
