To be admitted to the Executive Master’s in Health Informatics, we ask you to submit a portfolio. This portfolio provides insight into your background, motivation, and experience. The Admissions Committee will review it to determine your eligibility for the program.
Your portfolio should include the following documents:
Your portfolio contains personal information and must be submitted securely. Send an email to healthinformatics@amsterdamumc.nl. You will then receive a secure upload link from the program coordinator, allowing you to submit all documents securely.
After reviewing your portfolio, the Admissions Committee will decide whether you are admitted to the program.
If admitted, you will receive an official admission letter with further information on enrollment and the start of the program.

Required Medical Knowledge
All candidates must demonstrate medical knowledge at least at the level of a professional bachelor’s degree. This means you:

The program fee includes the examination fee and access to online study materials.
Payments
Each course will be charged by invoice after the start of the course.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your registration free of charge until the start of the course. After the start of the course, refunds are no longer possible.
Financing
In the Netherlands, professionals who live and work in the country can apply for a loan for the program fee through the Lifelong Learning Credit (Levenlanglerenkrediet) at the Education Executive Agency (DUO).
