Group composition
The student population consists of a diverse and multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals with a higher professional education or university background. About one third of the students are physicians (including general practitioners and medical specialists). Another third has a different WO background, for example in health sciences or informatics. The remaining students are HBO-trained professionals such as nurses, IT specialists, and quality officers.

Students work across various healthcare sectors, including hospitals, general practice care, long-term care, public health services, and healthcare IT organizations. Professionals in roles such as CMIO (Chief Medical Information Officer), CNIO (Chief Nursing Information Officer), or policy advisors also participate in the programme.

This diversity of backgrounds and work environments creates a rich learning environment in which different perspectives on digital healthcare come together. Students learn not only from lecturers and scientific literature, but also from each other and from each other’s practical experiences.

Online information sessions
Each year, several online information sessions are organized. During these sessions, we provide detailed information about the programme content, and you will have ample opportunity to ask questions.
