Graduates of the Master's programme Cultural and Social Anthropology are trained professionals with a solid theoretical background and trained applied research skills.

Where do our graduates work?

As an Applied Anthropology graduate you can expect to work as:

  • advisor or employee at a ministry, municipality or other governmental institution
  • policy advisor, project officer or manager at a NGO, non-profit organisation, company or in academia
  • (independent) researcher or consultant on different topics

Graduates seeking a research career within academia are eligible to pursue a PhD.

Your diploma is not a farewell
