Econometrics and Mathematical Economics (Econometrics)
How can data help a football club build the optimal team, or game theory improve the way research funding is distributed? In the Econometrics and Mathematical Economics track, you combine advanced mathematical models with econometric methods to analyse how individuals, organisations and markets make decisions and interact. You will learn to model competition and strategic behaviour, study complex economic dynamics and test economic relationships using real-world data. This combination of theory, data and computation equips you to tackle complex economic and societal challenges with analytical rigour and empirical evidence. Is Econometrics and Mathematical Economics for you?
- You will learn to apply advanced mathematical and statistical methods to analyse data and model economic behaviour.
