The other tracks are:
Study programme
We provide a distinctive programme in which:
- You learn how to present yourself as an anthropological professional to the world outside academia, as well as to employ creative ways to bring your anthropological ideas across to often non-academic audiences.
- You conduct a qualitative fieldwork in a wide range of regional, thematic and theoretical specialisations that leads to an ethnographically rich and theoretically informed thesis.
Dr Laurens Bakker explains Applied Anthropology in this video.
Academic staff
The research conducted by the UvA Anthropology department is well recognised. Our staff is committed to both teaching and research. The programme director of the MSc in Cultural and Social Anthropology is Dr Yatun Sastramidjaja.
