In 2022 we celebrated 100 years of EB with a big party, a conference and an exhibition. Furthermore, the book Honouring the past, delivering the future was written to mark the occasion. 6 trees were also planted on the Roeterseiland Campus, 1 for each of the 6 continents. The trees symbolise the diversity at UvA EB and its international character. The Amsterdam Economists Association (KAE) presented a statue of the Greek god Hermes as a gift to mark the occasion. The statue is on display in the main hall of Building E.
