The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences enjoys a prominent standing within the social sciences sector in Europe and is the largest educational and research institution in the social and behavioural sciences in Europe.

Research and education at the Faculty address societal and human behaviour related themes, like the impact of new media on society, health care, urbanisation, human and child development, mental health, inequalities, diversity and social cohesion.  

Four domains

Four domains shape these educational and research programmes and cooperate on multidisciplinary themes: Child Development and Educatio; Communication; Psychology; and Social Sciences (Anthropology, Human Geography, Planning & International Development Studies, Political Science, Sociology).
