By bringing together seven strong academic disciplines under one roof, we apply knowledge where it matters most. That breadth is our strength. We organise our work around four thematic intersections, where expertise from different disciplines comes together. One of these intersections is 'Mental well-being and behaviour: from youth to adulthood'.

Mental well-being and behaviour: from youth to adulthood

We study how young people develop, how adults deal with stress and how policy can support well-being at every stage of life.

We work with schools, healthcare organisations, local authorities and social organisations to develop evidence-based solutions that work in practice. We identify which factors build resilience and which interventions are most effective for different groups.
