By bringing together seven strong academic disciplines under one roof, we apply knowledge where it matters most. That breadth is our strength. We organise our work around four thematic intersections, where expertise from different disciplines comes together. One of these intersections is 'Cities built for the future'.

Cities built for the future

We study how people move through the city, how neighbourhoods evolve and how policy can foster  healthy, inclusive living environments.

Working with urban data, participation processes and design-led research, we  help cities develop policies that are responsive to residents’ needs and the dynamics of urban systems, from climate adaptation and housing  to social cohesion and mental health.
